I grew up with a strong Chrsitan influence through my Grandmother who I was around. She made sure that I, as well as my siblings attended Christian school and learned about Jesus.Although I had a good foundation, which the Lord would later build on, I wandered away. Through my high school years I no longer had a Christian influence to guide me and disciple me. Although I was a "good kid", I was never mature in Christ enough to be Christ like on my own and pursue a relationship with Him. Well, that carried on through my late twenties. Living by the worlds standard got me no place and very fast.

God had used a certain time in my life where I was depressed and broken, to turn me back to Him. I am so glad and blessed that I knew where to turn. The world had had its way with me and I was emptied. I had probably been pushing God to the side for many years and came to the place where I knew it was time to give my life back to Him and not a second later. I was that prodigal son and needed to turn from my sin and live for Christ, on His terms. I did and He met me right at that moment. It is my desire to help equip the young people here at Beachside with the Truth of Christ and give them an opportunity to live for Him. To also warn them of the mistakes that I made and encourage them in their walk.
