Hi Beachside brothers and sisters! Just wanted to say hello and encourage you all with some great truth from God's Word. I have been spending time this week in Psalm 91...and it is one awesome chapter! I'm going to read verses 1-4 for you...just because I like it so much. Post your thoughts and comments on these verses below for us all so we can grow, think, and enjoy what you have to say. Then check back in soon for the rest of the verses from Psalm 91...and don't forget to tell your friends to drop in and comment to get into the prize drawing this week! Blessings my friends!

I think God is telling us that he will protect us from harm, and to run to him.

I especially like verse 14-16. It says that God listens and hears us when we are in need. He will protect us from evil as we stay with him.

I also like the use of words that these verse have. It really helps you imagine God with his wings protecting us from the devil lurking in the darkness.

What I got from these verses is that they talk about how God protects us from the world and sin with his wings of protection. He also is a place we can find comfort in his place of refuge and under his wings. He can even save us from the traps of Satan.

Hi Brooke! Yes...we have been, and will continue to pray for your grandpa. My dad was a very old and sick man when he gave his life to the Lord. As long as we have breath...it's never too late. Blessings!

I will say of the lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God,In Him I will trust.” What that means is you should always trust in him even if your going through hard times or even the greatest times to you should trust in him

Hi Serena! We missed you at the beach this morning...wish you had been there. And yes...our God alone is worthy of all of our trust; through all of the ups and downs of life. Keep your eyes on Jesus!

Thank you so much for these amazing verses, Marty! I really enjoyed hearing verse 2, "I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust." Having a reminder that He is our refuge and our safe place is just a great thing to think about and reflect on.
