The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God."
Greetings Beachside Junior High saints! I trust that this post will find you all well and doing just fine in the midst of our world gone crazy! If you were able to listen to pastor Bert's message this morning, you know that real peace in any and every storm can only be found in our "El Shaddai," our God Almighty! I pray that you are all drawing closer to Him during this time; using your unexpected "break" from the normal routine to really spend some time seeking God. Spend more time reading and studying His word...pray...worship...speak about God to your friends and family like you've never done before! If you have ears to listen...He is calling out your name! Have you any new thoughts or revelations about God? Have you seen or understood things differently now than before we ever heard of Covid? Tell us! Make a comment here...we would all love to hear what you have to share!
This coming Wednesday is April1, 2020...better known as April Fools Day. The Bible has a bunch to say about being a fool, and, as we learned in our study through the Proverbs with Mr. Mark G, much to say about being wise as well! Here is what I am challenging us all to do this week. Look up some verses in the Bible that speak of fools, or foolish behavior. Then...post the verse in the comment section below with your take on it...we want to know what it speaks to your heart and mind! Every Beachside Youth junior higher who does this will get their name in this week's drawing for another amazing prize...delivered to your door by Amazon. You also score an entry by responding to your fellow Beachside Youth friend's comments. Also, if you would like to post a video of yourself (singing, reading scripture, encouraging, saying hi) to the group on this site...let us know and we can make some magic happen. So light up this website, brothers and sisters! Let's stay connected day by day with each other...and especially with our great God Almighty! Much love to you all! Your youth leaders miss you and are praying for you all daily. Let's hear from you! Blessings!
