I have been “bugged” by this whole epidemic and this is really comforting because I know I’m a child of God and that’s what matters
It’s amazing how powerful God is and that we can have that power also... Time to trample some lions and cobras!😁
Context is key, we had a great discussion at home about how Satan tempted Jesus and He replied in Luke 4:12 -- But Jesus declared, “It also says, ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’
All things are possible with God, but I would not test Him the next time I go to the Zoo!
All we need is a little bit of faith...and we can do almost anything!
Amen Joshua, that is what matters. I too have been casting all my cares on Him, and He has been my strength and my joy!
That’s a nice shirt you’re wearing, Mr. Mark!
You are generous my USC-loving little brother!
As I had said before, these verses are my favorite. It really shows that God is faithful and loyal to us. He won’t let us down and will always love us.
“He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.”
Thank you Brooke and Joshua...what great comments and insights! This Psalm has such a strong application to what we are going through right now...so glad to know that you are both drawing strength and peace from the promises of our great God!
Beautiful related verses, thank you for sharing!
Maybe He can give me the strength to trample the coronavirus too
You are more than a conqueror, now walk humbly with your God!
Can't wait to see you back at church.

Hay guys my favorite verse was psalm:15-16.What I think it means is that Jesus always has your back no matter what happens or what we’re going thru. He is always with us from thick and thin. And this verse he shall call upon me and I will answer him.That means if your praying or talking to him he will always answer them a yes,no,or maybe love you guys can’t wait to see you.
Yep!!! He will never leave us and always knows what we go through.
Thank you Serena, beautiful understanding
Hay guys I heard this thing is we’re you make a picture or a painting of a rainbow 🌈 it repsents all the people that are working thru the virus and risking there life’s to help the people in need.its like how Jesus when on the cross and died for our sins so we won’t have any more left.Its like the workers there helping all the people that are in need and they are risking their life to gust help us let’s thank thank them.
We have so much to be thankful and grateful for, especially when others serve and love and care for the weak and wounded like Jesus did. Jesus is the best doctor ever!
Even though these times are tough and we don't get to socialize God is still moving , working and healing. I've heard a couple of stories were people with Covid-19 have accepted Christ as well as doctors. It is so cool how God turns the enemies plans and turns them into miracles, testimonies, and stories that man can't plan. my mom read my siblings and i 1 Timothy 6:6-14 and would encourage you all to read it to . Keep fighting the good fight in these crazy times;
1 Timothy 6:6-14 is one great passage! I really like the part that says "Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses." (verse 12)
Your mom is a really smart mom! Those are great verses to read, meditate on (think about), and even write down and memorize, and pray about! Yes, fight the good fight of faith. Our faith and the faith of others is worth fighting for!
10b " Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling"
11" for he shall give His angels charge over you"
that just so comforting to know and it reminds me of the verse " be still and know that I AM God"
Wow Serena and Annalee...these are some great comments and verses you are sharing here! It is so awesome to see how God is revealing Himself and His truth to you as you seek Him. Keep your eyes on Jesus...and tell your friends to get on this site and to join in. Thanks again for your posts!
Thanks for the great comments, Serena and Annalee. I thank all of you who share verses to encourage all of us. （＾∇＾）
If you are up to it Brooke...have your mom or dad make a video of YOU sharing a verse or a word of encouragement! Send it to Lisa and we will post it here for all to enjoy!
I love those passages!
We are absolutely in His care and nothing will come upon you outside of His will!
Wow something amazing happened last night. My grandpa had a nurse come by, and she was a Christian. She prayed for them and my grandma really liked her. Around the same time, my mom’s sister was at a prayer group. The pastor’s wife prayed for someone to come and be a witness for them.
It really encourages me than God is still working, and never stops working. I hope it encourages all of you guys too.
That is SO AWESOME Brooke! So many people are praying for your grandparents...it is so amazing to see our God at work as we seek Him in prayer. We will keep praying...God is working in amazing ways in our time! Blessing!
That is so awesome that God is showing you how He coordinates and works all things out. Praying for your grandparents also!
Thanks for sharing these super cool verses dad!
I love you Hannah, I love sharing with you and all of our group!
just reading verse 14b was a great encouragement for me...it says "I(God) will protect him(us humans), for he acknowledges my name." and verse 16 also-"with long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation."
Thanks Hannah. Right on!!! When we acknowledge Him in all our ways...everything changes for the good. Blessings!
Yep! It was great to see you today, Marty!
ya HANNAH PREACH IT GIRL!!!
Hahahahah! Thanks Anna :)
Nice words of encouragement guys!
Keep up the good work
It’s so nice to discuss, encourage, and grow closer to God with one another. Now we can comment with everyone not just our group of friends.
Exactly!! we don't even need phone numbers! And that is just amazing :)
Hey Marty, did you do a drawing yet for this week? I was just curious if we were going to or not.....
